The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey
This was my first time shooting a wedding at the beautiful Tithe Barn in Bolton Abbey and it couldn't have been a better one to start with. Sam & Nic are a bloody ace couple, we had a pre-wed shoot around Kelham Island in Sheffield a month or so before and I knew I was going to enjoy their wedding.
They had loads of lovely touches they'd designed themselves such as the place settings being Yorkshire quotes and an amazing wall of doughnuts.
It rained on and off but in no way got in the way, there was a big downpour while we were out in the field getting some couple portraits, there was a handy tree to duck under and we got some gorgeous photos of the two of them.
I did photography, including a roll of 35mm film and also shot a highlight film using a mix of 8mm film and HD digital.
