Silver & Light ~ the new name for Mr & Mrs Wedding Photography & Film. This name change has been on the cards for a long time!
The name Mr & Mrs Wedding Photography has served me well but I’ve wanted to change to a name that is more inclusive and also to one that says something about me and my work.
Why Silver & Light?
‘Photographic film is a strip or sheet of transparent film base coated on one side with a gelatin emulsion containing microscopically small light-sensitive silver halide crystals.‘
I’ve always had a love of film photography and filmmaking ~ 35mm /120 photography and 8mm/16mm for filmmaking. I also combine these with digital but it is part of my practice that is important to me and something I want to continue pursuing in the future.
Apart from the name change though it’s business as usual, my style isn’t going to drastically change overnight and my approach to capturing awesome weddings is the same.
